Sometimes the most compelling jobs come from the most unexpected places. Now and then we engage with a young and fast-growing company that is looking for guidance when creating new visual content.

While shooting for some of our clients in the outdoor industry, Monty had the opportunity to meet Brandon Bates. Brandon is a well-known arena announcer for the Professional Bull Riding association (PBR) and a passionate entrepreneur. Brandon and his team were looking for a photographer that could produce images to roll out a new online apparel company named Rural Cloth. This company was created to make clothes that reflect the personalities of everyday farmers and ranchers across the US.

Working with Monty, they were able to establish shoots with an array of talented singer-songwriters from Nashville, professional bull riders, ranchers, and farmers. Monty even had the privilege of shooting Jess Lockwood – the 2017 world bull riding champion, Easton Corbin – a country music singer, and Josh Thompson – a songwriter. Incorporating these individuals into the photoshoots led to inspiring and genuine images for Rural Cloth.
